Program 1: Finding Scholarly Articles
Demonstrates finding journal articles for your study and research using databases and various academic search engines.

Program 3: Internet and Research
Demonstrates how to find quality information on the Internet for your study and research.

Program 4: Electronic Resources for Job Hunting and Further Studies

Program 5: Creating Bibliography and Managing Citations with RefWorks Flow
Introduces RefWorks Flow, the new cloud-based platform for citation and full-text article management.  This hands-on workshop demonstrates how to create in-text citations and bibliography in a variety of citation styles (e.g. MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.) while writing your assignments using MS Word and Google Docs.

Program 6: Measuring and Showcasing Your Research Impact
This workshop introduces publication citation counting features and metrics of Web of Science Citation Databases and Scopus.  How to generate the h-index which attempts to measure both the productivity and impact of the published work of an author in these databases will also be covered.  How to find citation metrics of a researcher in the ResearcherID website will be introduced.

Program 7: Information Security Awareness
Learn how to use and share information safely by increasing your awareness of phishing, social networking, web browsing, computer security, mobile security, cloud security, and more.  Attend the workshop and make sure you are secure in the cyber world!
