2. Information Literacy Courses for CUHK Students: March - June 2010

3. RFID Pilot Scheme@NAL

RFID (Radio-frequency identification) is a proven technology for enhancing workflow and efficiency in libraries around the world.  Recently, there has been an emerging trend of adopting RFID technology, both in providing library services, as well as in automating labour intensive routines in academic libraries in Hong Kong.

5. MAN Literary Festival Announcement

The Art of Translation II -- Good translation is as much a work of art as the piece being translated.  Yet often the subtleties and nuances of language--the things that make a work original--are missed in the process.  Is it possible to create a mirror of the original? To what extent does a translator have the opportunity to discuss a work's nuances with the author? Join Murong Xuecun and his translator, Harvey Thomlinson, as they shed some light on these questions.  This session will be in English and Putonghua.
