5. Hong Kong Reading Month 2005

Reading the Horizons of Knowledge -- Book Exhibition in the University Library
Date: April 20 - May 23, 2005 (Library opening hours)
Venue: Lobby, University Library

In line with the "Hong Kong Reading Month 2005" programmes jointly organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Publishing Federation, Leisure and Cultural Services Department, HKedCity, RTHK and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the University Library is going to hold a book exhibition from April 20 to May 23, 2005 in the lobby of the University Library.  Books displayed include Chinese and English rare books, classics and best-sellers.  Library users are welcome.

As part of our community service, the exhibition is also opened to organized tours of secondary school students and teachers.  Guided tours are provided for 15 people or above and the tours will include also visiting our two Special Collections of Hong Kong Literature and Mr. Gao Xingjian, the first Chinese Nobel Laureate in Literature.  For appointment and enquiries, please call Mrs. Law of the Reference Department on 2609 7197.
