1. Renovation of Chung Chi College Elisabeth Luce Moore Library

1. Financed by UGC AA+I funding, the entire Chung Chi College Library will undergo a phased renovation this summer.  The following areas will be closed to users during the renovation:

2/F and LG/F May 10 - June 10
1/F May 30 - July 10
G/F July 11 - August 20

2. Book Retrieval Service during Floor Closures
During the renovation period, a book retrieval service will be available for users to request books from any closed area.  For safety reasons, retrievals will be scheduled three times daily, Monday - Friday, and twice daily on weekends.  Please ask at the counter for assistance.

3. Extended Loan Period
To minimize the inconvenience to our users, the Library encourages users to keep the Library books during the whole period of renovation.  The loan period of all books checked out by any user from May 1, 2005 to July 31, 2005 from Chung Chi College Library will be extended.  The exceptions are reserve items, and books subject to recalls by other users.  The due-date will be on September 30, 2005 or the expiry date of the CU Link/Library Card, whichever comes first.

4. We will do our very best to help whenever and wherever we can during this period of disruption and noise.  For enquires and suggestions, please do not hesitate to call Chung Chi College Library Counter at x6969 or Ms. Chiu Ha-lin, the Branch Librarian, at x6966.

We very sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
