Film Screening of "Typhoon Signal No. 10" |

To accompany "An Exhibition of Donations of Mrs. Liu Yat-yuen" and to let our staff, students and the public know more about Mr. Liu's contribution to Hong Kong film industry and culture, "Typhoon Signal No. 10" will be shown on September 28, 2005, Wednesday, at 7:00 pm at User Education Room 1, University Library. The film story is originated from Mr. Liu's fiction, Wo men zhe yi qun. It was produced by Sun Luen Film Company in 1959 and was directed by Lo Dun. Actors and actresses include Wu Chufan, Luo Yanqing, Zhou Cong, Huang Manli, Feng Baobao. The film is about lives of persons living in the houses built on rooftop in the fifties.
