1. Inspired by Waves and Streams: Kan Kit-Keung's Paintings, Calligraphy and installations

Inspired by Waves and Streams: Kan Kit-Keung's Paintings, Calligraphy and installations exhibition will be held from 26 November to 23 December at the Exhibition Area of the University Library.  The exhibition is in celebration of the CUHK 50th anniversary.

The exhibition features Dr. Kan Kit-keung's (CUHK physics graduate) preference for waterscape and his profound feeling for nature.  Dr. Kan's aspiration for innovation and his attempt to reinterpret the traditional Chinese art form are very much demonstrated in his calligraphic installations.  The opening ceremony will be held on 26 November, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the University Library Exhibition Area.  Dr. Kan Kit-keung, Prof. Joseph Sung (CUHK Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Leung Yuen Sang (Head, Chung Chi College), Miss Tam Mei Yee (Chief Curator, Hong Kong Museum of Art) and Ms. Louise Jones (University Librarian) will officiate at the ceremony.  All are welcome to visit the exhibition.
