Program 1: Electronic Resources for Job Hunting and Further Studies
Introduces and demonstrates related web resources and databases for users who aspire to enhance their career prospects or are contemplating further studies.

March 12 (Mon) 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
March 22 (Thu) 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Program 2: Creating Bibliography and Citations Using RefWorks
Demonstrates how to use RefWorks, a web-based bibliography management tool, to produce bibliographies and in-text references in a variety of citation styles (e.g. MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.).

Program 3: Insider's Guide to Getting Published
The Library has arranged with Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., the world's leading publisher of management research, to provide an author workshop for faculty and postgraduate students.  The session will contain insider's information on:

  • How to get published in the right journal
  • How to target your work more effectively
  • What editors and reviewers actually look for
  • ISI, rankings and how important they are to your research
  • The key questions that make or break a paper
  • How to peer review your own work
  • The secrets of revision
