1. From the Treasure House: Jewels from the Library of The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The "From the Treasure House: Jewels from the Library of The Chinese University of Hong Kong" jointly organized by the University Library System and Art Museum finished in mid-May and was well received by attendees.  The University Library System has extended the Exhibition with selected valuable Chinese and English materials that the library has collected over the years.

2. Hong Kong Literature Projects: Hong Kong Literary Field Trips & Fun with Learning Chinese Language through Literary Walks

Hong Kong Literary Field Trips Project Selected as a Showcase of Knowledge Transfer

Aiming to share the experience of knowledge exchange with international delegates, the Knowledge Transfer Office of CUHK has selected the Hong Kong Literary Field Trips Project as one of their showcases in the Knowledge Exchange and Arts and Humanities Research Conference to be held at the Southampton University, UK on 10th-11th July, 2013.

3. CUHK University Library System Conference 'The Yin-Yang of Future Consortial Collaboration and Competition'

In celebrating the 50th Anniversary of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, University Library System and the Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC) jointly organized a conference entitled 'Academic Librarian 3: The Yin-Yang of Future Consortial Collaboration and Competition' on 30-31 May 2013, attracting around 300 local and overseas delegates.

5. Good Practice to Safeguard your Library Account

Your library account consisting of your user name and password enables you to access online the library's extensive subscribed electronic resources through a system of user identification and authentication allowing you to be recognized as an authorized user.  It is important to safeguard your library account especially your password to prevent abuse or any unauthorized activity of the electronic resources as these may lead to the suspension of resources for the whole University.

6. New Book Drops at Yasumoto International Academic Park

The Library is pleased to announce that two new book drops are now in service on 1/F, Yasumoto International Academic Park (opposite the University Bookstore).  All circulating books may be returned there.  The books will be collected and sent to the University Library daily (except weekends and public holidays).  For details of the book drop service, please refer to the library webpage.
