Aiming to share the experience of knowledge exchange with international delegates, the Knowledge Transfer Office of CUHK has selected the Hong Kong Literary Field Trips Project as one of their showcases in the Knowledge Exchange and Arts and Humanities Research Conference to be held at the Southampton University, UK on 10th-11th July, 2013.

Launched in 2011, the Hong Kong Literary Field Trips Project is co-organized by the Hong Kong Literature Research Centre, the University Library System of CUHK, and the Chinese Language Education Section of the Curriculum Development Institute of the Education Bureau of the Government of Hong Kong SAR.  For details, please refer to the Project Homepage and Library Newsletter.

Fun with Learning Chinese Language through Literary Walks Project to be launched soon

Funded by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research, the "Fun with Learning Chinese Language through Literary Walks" Project is a two-year programme jointly organized by the Hong Kong Literature Research Centre and the University Library System of CUHK.  By organizing a series of literary walks in eighteen districts of Hong Kong, the project aims to enhance the Chinese language proficiency of junior secondary school students.  The project will establish an online resource on literary scenes and provide a discussion platform in order to cultivate an interest in reading and writing among students.
