Starting from the 04/05 academic year, the Library has strengthened the online learning component of its postgraduate research skill course on 'Observing Intellectual Property and Copyright Law during Research'. More than 1,200 postgraduate students have completed the online course in the last two years.  Evaluation by CLEAR of students' perception of the usefulness of the course has been very positive. 

A study has also been done recently to investigate students' ability to retain the knowledge learnt by inviting 387 students who went through the course more than half a year ago to take a re-test.  To express our thankfulness to those helpful students who made the effort to sit the re-test, a lucky draw has been held.  The winner will be awarded a $500 book coupon by the Library.  The prize-giving ceremony is going to be held at 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm on May 16, 2006 in User Education Room 1, G/F, University Library.
