7. eResources Week - Thank You for Your Participation

To promote the use of academic research resources, the University Library System organized a series of activities from January to February, including an online quiz, seminars, exhibits and games.

The online quiz, held from January 17 to February 10, was well received with over 1,100 students participating.  Finalists of the online quiz joined in the final competition held on February 17, competing for the grand prizes which included a notebook computer, iPads and iPod Touches.

Database vendors and publishers were also invited to the University Library from February 15 to 17 to conduct database seminars and set up exhibits.  Over 1,200 students and staff visited the exhibition and game booths.  Many souvenirs were given out to those who had fun playing in the game booths.
