Professor Wu Weishan donated his autographed books, 《雕塑的詩性》及The poetry of sculpture to CUHK Library after the Ceremony for the Unveiling of the Bust of Professor Jao Tsung-I on November 12, 2009.

Professor Wu is a notable sculptor.  He has held many personal exhibitions in countries of Europe, North America and Asia.  His works are collected by many museums throughout China and around the world.  He is now the President of the Chinese Academy of Sculptures, a professor at Nanjing University, where he also heads the Institute of Fine Arts and the Institute of Sculpture Art.
