2. Hong Kong Literary Field Trips Project Awarded the Frist Prize

Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Literature Research Centre and the University Library System of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Chinese Language Education Section, Curriculum Development Institute, Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Hong Kong Literary Field Trips Project was awarded the First Prize in a reading promotion campaign held by the Library Society of China in 2012.

Funded by the CUHK Knowledge Transfer Fund in 2011, the Hong Kong Literary Field Trips Project consisted of a major forum, field trips, workshops, thematic website etc.  This 15-month project aimed at promoting literary reading and literary field trips to students and teachers of the secondary schools in Hong Kong.

The reading promotion campaign held by the Library Society of China attracted submissions from the entire country and shared the experience of promoting innovative and effective reading activities to the community.
