2. An Exhibition In Memory of Professor Shiu-ying Hu, Chung Chi College Administration Building Lobby Gallery and Elizabeth Luce Moore Library, October 2012

Jointly presented by The Chinese University of Hong Kong Chung Chi College and University Library System, the exhibition is in memory of and in recognition of Professor Hu's tremendous contributions to the promotion of botany and Chinese medicinal research.

Professor Shiu-ying Hu is recognized all over the world as a leading authority on hollies, daylilies, paulownias, daisies and orchids.  She devoted a lifelong career to research on plant taxonomy and was an eminent scholar in that field.  She passed away on May 22, 2012, at the Prince of Wales Hospital, at the age of 102.
