3. Subsidized Quota for Overseas Interlibrary Loan Requests

Effective September 1, 2007, eligible users for interlibrary loan services will be granted a subsidized quota to request articles from overseas libraries.  The quota starts in each academic year from August to July of next year.  Within the quota limit, users only pay a flat fee of HK$60 per article request.  When the quota is used up, users will be informed and charged at the cost imposed by the lending library.  The subsidized quota applies to regular article requests.  The Library will decline requests which are too expensive.  More details can be found at the Library web page.
