Finding Theses and Dissertations
Learn how to locate theses and dissertations submitted by students from universities in Hong Kong, China, North America, and the United Kingdom.

Internet and Academic Research
Introduce how to locate free but good quality materials for academic research from the internet.

Creating Bibliography and Citations Using Refworks
Demonstrate how to use RefWorks, a web-based bibliography management tool, to produce bibliographies and in-text references in a variety of citation styles (e.g. MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.).

Research Alert: Keeping Up-to-date in Your Research Area
Demonstrate how to create search alerts for the new relevant search results to be automatically sent to you by email.  The alert features of Web of Science Citation Databases, Scopus, ScienceDirect, IEEE Explore, EBSCOhost and ProQuest will be introduced.  Setting up of citation and table of content alerts, where appropriate, will also be covered.

The workshop will be best for participants with some basic skills in searching databases.
