New Medical and Healthcare Electronic Resources |

Li Ping Medical Library is pleased to announce that a number of new medical and healthcare electronic resources are now available. They consist of full text journals, e-books, databases and learning resources to support research and learning in different program areas of the Faculty of Medicine. Includes the latest findings on the safety and efficacy of the most commonly used dietary supplements.

Has over 150 monographs detailing phytochemical, pharmacological and clinical aspects of each herb.
- JBI COnNECT+ (Clinical Online Network of Evidence for Care and Therapeutics)
A web-based system that integrates resources and tools to assist health care workers to make evidence-based informed clinical decisions.
- LWW Complete Book Collection
Contains more than 870 e-books published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, covering numerous therapeutic areas and disciplines in medicine and nursing.
- LWW Journal Definitive Archive Collection
Provides instant access to the backfiles of more than 300 high-quality journals in medicine, healthcare and nursing spanning from 1807 to 2003.
- The Merck Index
Contains more than 10,000 monographs, 28 supplemental tables and 450 organic name reactions on chemical, pharmaceutical and biomedical information.
- Oxford Scholarship Online - Public Health and Epidemiology
Contains more than 100 select titles which critically discuss the development and assessment of public health issues.
- PJ Online
A website that contains several pharmacy journals published since January 2005.
- Science Translational Medicine
A newly published journal on translational medicine.
- Stockley's Herbal Medicines Interactions
Contains the most up-to date information on herbal medicines, dietary supplements and nutraceuticals.
