3. Bring Design Concepts to Life – 3D Printing Services @ Learning Garden

The Library is pleased to offer a trial run of 3D printing services, an emerging technology, in September at the Learning Garden for students, staff and faculty.  3D printing is a process of making a physical model, which helps users to rapidly build prototyping of their working models.  We hope to inspire students to explore new interest in design and help them to bring their creations and design concepts to life.

To use the 3D Printing Service @ Learning Garden, simply bring a complete build model in STL format on a flash drive to the Learning Garden Help Desk during service hours below.  Staff will verify your models and submit to a printing queue.

For more details, visit http://www.lib.cuhk.edu.hk/learning_garden/3dprinting.html.

The Library will soon provide another 3D printer with a larger build size.  Stay tuned!
