Wing Chun Class

A total of 35 students, including exchange students, participated in the Wing Chun Class of the College taught by Mr Thomas WONG, a professional Wing Chun coach, from 13 September to 11 October 2017. During the three lessons, the participants learnt Wing Chun concepts and close-range combat skills, gaining a greater understanding of Chinese martial arts and Chinese culture.

Sport Climbing Fun Day and Archery Fun Day

To offer fun and challenging workout options to students, the College organised Sport Climbing Fun Day and Archery Fun Day on 29 September and 20 November 2017 respectively. These two activities were well received by the participants.

2017 CWC Race Walking

CWC Race Walking was organised on 13 October 2017 by John YE and Benjamin LI, Resident Tutors, for the sake of the residents' health. Before the walk, John and Benjamin gave an introduction and instructions to 21 student participants to make sure that everything is safe and smooth during the walk.

They set off in the evening from the College and race-walked to the University MTR Station. Then they continued to Pak Shek Kok Promenade. Some students were impressed by the beautiful scenery along the route they chose. They sometimes stopped to take photos. After reaching the destination, Science Park, all the participants were tired.

The participants then dined at a Japanese restaurant in the Science Park. Those taking PE courses would also gain four extra-curricular activity marks. The students hoped that they can join such kind of activities in Term 2, 201718.

Introductory Fitness Courses

Organised on 20 October 2017 and 25 January 2018, the Introductory Fitness Courses was taught by Mr LAM Ho Fung, Assistant Lecturer of the College,  introducing to the students the correct ways to use different types of fitness equipment so as to prevent the injuries due to wrong moves. The participants found the courses practical.
