Outreach The New Student Orientation Day and Orientation Day for Undergraduate Admissions took place on 8 August and 21 October 2017 respectively. For more details about these two activities, please refer to Page 67 of the Report of the Master published in November 2017.
Alumni Homecoming Day 2017
Another outreach activity, Alumni Homecoming Day, was organised by CUHK on 25 November 2017 to welcome alumni back to their alma mater.
Five current students of the College served as ambassadors to organise a carnival game booth at the University Mall on Alumni Homecoming Day which was a Saturday. Many alumni visitors together with their families and friends were attracted by the fun-filled booth games run by the College. They also got to understand more about the College Vision—Intimate, International, Intellectual and Involved.
To extend our warm welcome to our alumni, Prof Kenneth YOUNG, Founding Master, hosted the first Alumni Homecoming Dinner in the evening of Alumni Homecoming Day for 22 CWC alumni from the Graduating Classes of 2016 and 2017. Prof Stephen HALL, College Fellow, and a few College staff also took part in this heart-warming hotpot reunion.
Witnessed by the College teachers and alumni, Mr Kevin CHEUNG, Class of 2016, was nominated by fellow graduates as their representative of CWC Alumni Club.
