We are pleased to bring to you Issue 17 of CW Chu College Newsletter, which summarises the events and achievements from July 2017 onwards. In 2017–18, our second graduation ceremony took place and we have our sixth cohort; the character and tradition of the College continue to take root and grow.

It is encouraging to see that a wider variety of student activities have been carried out to promote an intimate and international collegiate community, and to encourage students' intellectual curiosity and their involvement in the community. In this issue, we bring two of these interesting activities to the limelight: the Thanksgiving Party and the Indian Cultural Night, both of which facilitated cultural exchanges and were especially well received by the students of the College.

Once again we express our heartfelt gratitude towards our friends for their continuing support, and are delighted to bring updates about our thriving community.
