Visitors from SWUN
Four representatives from Southwest University for Nationalities (SWUN), accompanied by Prof Thomas Lee of the Department of Linguistics, visited the College on 19 August 2015 and were warmly welcomed by Prof Kenneth Young, College Master.
Visitors from Maryknoll Fathers' School
A delegation of 30 students and teachers from Maryknoll Fathers' School visited CW Chu College on 13 October 2015. The College Master gave an introduction to the CUHK College System and CW Chu College.
Chu Scholars
Two groups of Chu Scholars visited CW Chu College on 10 and 24 October 2015 respectively; on the second of these occasions, they were accompanied by Dr Chuck Johnson, interim President of Vincennes University, where most of them first went to study with scholarships provided by Dr CW Chu. They were joined at dinner by Mr David Chu, Chairman of the College Committee of Overseers.
Visit of 2015 Ministry of Education (MOE) Interflow Programme Participants
A group of 32 participants of the 2015 Ministry of Education (MOE) Interflow Programme visited CW Chu College on 10 November 2015. Prof Kenneth Young, College Master, introduced the CUHK College System and CW Chu College facilities and activities.
Visit of the SRO of CityU
A group of 15 representatives from the Student Residence Office (SRO) of the City University of Hong Kong visited CW Chu College on 18 November 2015. They were warmly welcomed by Prof Kenneth Young, College Master, and Ms Melody Lee, College Secretary. Prof Young shared with them his insights on the CUHK college system and in particular about CW Chu College. They also enjoyed a campus tour and learnt more about the College.
Visit by key middle schools
A delegation of 40 representatives from key middle schools in mainland China visited CW Chu College on 2 December 2015. The College Master gave them an introduction to the College System and to CW Chu College.
Visit from the College of Applied Arts and Science of Beijing Union University
Four representatives from the College of Applied Arts and Science of Beijing Union University visited the College on 2 December 2015 and were warmly welcomed by Prof Kenneth Young, College Master, and Ms Melody Lee, College Secretary. Prof Young introduced the College facilities and activities. Participants were impressed by the College environment and were able to learn more about the College.
Visit from the School of Sociology and Political Science Shanghai University
On 10 December 2015, a delegation of 11 members from the School of Sociology and Political Science Shanghai University visited CW Chu College. They obtained information about the CUHK College System through an introduction session by Prof Kenneth Young, College Master.
Visit from Ms Lin Jie, Deputy Director, Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of the Beijing Language and Culture University
Ms Lin Jie, the Deputy Director of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of the Beijing Language and Culture University visited CUHK and met with the College Staff on 10 December 2015. CHEN Yifan, a Year 2 CWC student accompanied Ms Lin for the College campus tour after the meeting.
