Incoming Exchange Students (Term 1, 2015–16)

In Term 1 of the academic year 2015–16, CW Chu College received 30 incoming exchange students (15 male and 15 female) from various origins, including Chile, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, UK and US. Nearly half of them will stay at the College for the whole academic year.

A welcome lunch was arranged for the incoming exchange students on 4 September 2015. The College Master, the Dean of Students, members of the External Links and Exchange Committee and student representatives joined the lunch to greet the exchange students.

Incoming exchange students are assigned roommates of local or mainland origin to promote interactions.Through joining College communal dinners and High Table Dinners, they come into contact with students from other cultures and learn to live with diversity.
