Bulletin Board DIY Workshop
Resident Tutor, Mica Fu, organized a Bulletin Board DIY Workshop on 5 October 2015. Ten College students joined and had fun making personalized decorations to put on their bulletin boards, by using colourful pieces of cloth, bead chains, custom patches and other accessories.
Zentangle Workshop
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, fun and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Ten College students joined the Zentangle workshop organized by Natalie Chan, resident tutor of CW Chu College, on 20 October 2015. Students immersed themselves in beautiful patterns and had a relaxing night.
A Night Talk with Dean of Students
Prof Wong Suk Ying, College Dean of Students and Professor in Sociology, held a casual and enlightening night talk on 3 November 2015. The topic was 'Sociology and Common Sense: Which is Which?'. Ten College students joined and shared their thoughts.
Japanese Night
Eida Kazusa, Iwata Kenta, Matsufuji Naoki, Motohashi Takuro, Okamoto Takuto and Tashiro Yumiko, a group of incoming exchange students from Japan, organized a Japanese Night on 25 November 2015 to introduce their culture. They demonstrated how to make sushi and takoyaki, served delicious desserts including chocolate banana, ice-cream and cheese cakes, among Japanese snacks and sake, attracting over 40 College students. Participants had a great time making sushi rolls and takoyaki, and enjoyed a night of food and laughter.
Cupcake Gathering
A Cupcake gathering was organized by a resident tutor on 26 November 2016. Over 10 College students, including exchange students, joined and enjoyed delicious cupcakes in different flavours, and also hot drinks.
