News: ICS Chinese Culture Series – Chinese Calligraphy Workshop
This Workshop is a foundational class in Chinese calligraphy. The Workshop focuses on two styles of calligraphy, namely “kaishu” and “xingshu”. A series of 10 workshops were conducted from September 2022 to January 2023, to enable 16 participants to master the two styles.

Dr. Chan Kwun Nam, Phil, Associate Curator (Painting and Calligraphy), introduced calligraphy classics to lay the foundation for understanding the inheritance of Chinese calligraphy to deepen students’ understanding of calligraphy and cultivate interest in Chinese culture.
