New Asia College organized workshops on "Genuine Communication – Intensive Training on Presentation and Communication Skills" in November 2016, which were well received by our students and alumni.

The Workshops, hosted by Mr. James Bryce, a professional trainer in communication and presentation skills, aimed at helping New Asia students and alumni in:

confidence in conversing with others during interviews, presentations, or daily conversation;
fundamental communication and presentation skills; and
techniques for enhancing team dynamics

The four workshops were held on November 12, 13, 19 & 20, 2016.

A total of 40 New Asia students and alumni participated in the workshops. This year, to consolidate participants' learning in the class, a "1 on 1 interview" was added to the workshops, which were recorded and the DVDs provided to each participants. This enabled participants to continue enhancing their communication skills on their own. Awards were given to participants with outstanding performance and enthusiasm during the workshops.
