Free Guided Tour Exclusively for Alumni

The University's Art Museum will feature the exhibition of "Celestial Jewellery: Later Chinese Gold Ornaments" at its East Wing Galleries from November 10, 2006 to March 2007! The exhibition will showcase over 200 pieces of glamorous gold ornaments from the Cheng Xun Tang collection, with supplemented pieces drawn from the collections of Muwen Tang and Mengdiexuan. To allow alumni to understand more about the exhibition, Alumni Affairs Office has invited Ms Lai Suk Yee, an alumna of Department of Fine Arts (76/NA) and Assistant Curator of Art Museum to give a free guided tour exclusively for alumni on November 19. Details of the guided tour are as follows:

Fee Free
Application Deadline November 14 (Tuesday)
No of Seats Available  20 (first-come first-served)
Registration Method Please send your name, mobile number, email address and graduation information, as well as the name of your guest to cu.aao@cuhk.edu.hk with "Guided Tour" in the subject
(Each alumnus can bring along 1 guest)

From now on until March 2007, another exhibition entitled "The Art of Giving: Thirty-five Years of Donation to the Art Museum" is held at the West Wing Galleries of the Art Museum, highlighting the precious donations to pay tribute to all donors for their continuous support.
