A Gateway without Gates |
Many alumni have share with us their versions of the story behind the "Million-dollar Myth of the University Mall" right after the article was released in our October issue of Alumni Matters. One alumna suggested that the "Million Boulevard" is so named because of the many elites nurtured by the University as well as their contributions to the community. Verified or not, we are glad to see an immense interest among our readers in the scenic spots of CU. In this issue, let us turn to yet another of the University's most celebrated landmarks - the Main Entrance situated at 12 Miles of Taipo Road.

Those Were the Days…The Former Site of NA College |
The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) announced earlier this year its plan to demolish 17 buildings in Lai Chi Kok Road/ Kweilin Street and Yee Kuk Street in 2007. This has triggered some discussion among CU alumni, especial NA alumni, as one of the affected buildings is the former site of NA College in Kweilin Street.
