Science Enrichment Programme for Secondary 3-4 Students Organized by the Faculty of Science and supported by the Quality Education Fund, the "Science Enrichment Programme for Secondary 3-4 Students" is designed particularly for Secondary 3 students who exhibit passion and capability in science. It is an 18-month training programme with 3 study phases aiming to provide gifted science students with opportunities to explore and develop their higher order thinking skills, creativity and personal-social competencies. Programme Content / Fees - Phase 1 (Feb–Apr 2007): Science workshops including tutorials and fieldtrips/ HK$400 - Phase 2 (Jul–Dec 2007): A summer study camp and thematic lectures/ HK$2,000 - Phase 3 (Feb–Jul 2008): Group research/ Free Application Fee: HK$100 (non-refundable). "Passing on the Torch: Exhibition of 65 Years of Children's Literature in Hong Kong" The libraries of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) will jointly organize the "Passing on the Torch: Exhibition of 65 Years of Children's Literature in Hong Kong" with the Hong Kong Public Libraries. On display will be the handpicked creations by over 30 children's literature writers in Hong Kong and a number of valuable magazines and journals in children's literature.
