Archery Fun Days
Two Archery Fun Days were organised on 28 January and 11 February 2019 respectively, to offer fun and challenging workout to College students, who learnt basic archery skills in a relaxing atmosphere.
Sport Climbing Fun Day
Twelve students joined the Sport Climbing Fun Day at Sir Philip Haddon-Cave Sports Field organised by the College on 15 February 2019. During the activity, the coach introduced the students to basic climbing skills and safety measures to observe. Participants gained a better understanding on sports climbing, built self-confidence, developed body coordination, and learnt to persevere through the two-hour training.
Thai Boxing for Beginners
Thai boxing is a combat sport originated from Thailand. It is characterised by the use of punches, feet, knees and elbows to attack at very short distances. Five sessions of Thai Boxing classes for beginners were offered to College students in Term 2, 2018–19. The lessons were taught by a certified coach from Hong Kong Muay Thai Association. Six students, including exchange students, participated in the class to benefit physically and mentally from the martial art.
