Hong Kong Cup All Japan University Student Ambassadors English Programme 2018–19

In late February 2019, the College welcomed one of the student ambassadors of the Hong Kong Cup All Japan University Student Ambassadors English Programme 2018–19. The programme was organised by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Tokyo) and the Japan News to encourage university students in Japan to explore the dynamism and rich diversity of Hong Kong. The Japanese student, Ms Aiko YAMASHITA, resided in the College hostel from 26 February to 4 March 2019, and had some memorable moments with our students.

On 28 February evening, Aiko was invited to join the College communal dinner in which she mingled with some participants of the College Toastmasters Club Taster Sessions and the facilitator of the session that evening, Ms Tessa STEWART. After the dinner, she attended the Toastmasters Club Taster Session to learn more about English public speaking.
