College Orientation Camp 2018

The College Orientation Camp (O' Camp) is the very first College activity that introduces the first-year students to their College life. It also aims to develop among new students a sense of belonging to the College community, and to let them know and get familiar with the support available, both emotional and informational, as they go through an important transition in their lives.

The O' Camp 2018 from 27 to 30 August was hosted by an Organising Committee (OC) of 11 members to welcome all local students, as well as non-local students from the rest of China and around the world, newly admitted to the College. During the four-day-three-night camp, the freshmen were divided into eight groups, each guided by three to four senior students as counsellors. The freshmen participated in many interesting activities such as ice breaking games, city hunt, room escape games, classroom games and campfire dance.

The freshmen got to know one another and built friendships with College mates across different years of study.

For more details about the O' Camp, please refer to Pages 33–34 of the Report of the Master published in 2018. You may also revisit the treasured moments at the College photo album.
