“The Fifth Forum on University Chinese”

The Fifth Forum on University Chinese organised by the Chinese Language Teaching Development Centre of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature and co-organised by the T.T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre of the Institute of Chinese Studies will be held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong on 7 August 2023, all are welcome. Event Highlight: ICS Jao Tsung-I Visiting Professor Public Lecture
Before the pandemic, ICS organised “Jao Tsung-I Visiting Professor Public Lecture” and invited renowned scholars in Chinese Studies to foster cultural hybridity and academic exchange between scholars. This year, we are delighted to announce the resumption of the Jao Tsung-I Visiting Professorship Scheme and the Jao Tsung-I Visiting Professor Public Lecture. ICS is honoured to invite Prof. Edward Shaughnessy to visit ICS from September to October 2023. During his visit, he will deliver two public lectures related to Shi Jing.
