Prof. Deng Yanhua earned her PhD at CUHK, and she is currently a Professor of the Department of Sociology, at Nanjing University. Prof. Deng applied for the “Visiting Scholars Scheme in Modern China Studies” in 2021, and was successfully selected. Owing to the pandemic, Prof. Deng postponed her visiting period, and now as the pandemic is over, she has confirmed her visit to CUHK from 1 August to 31 October 2023.
Public Lecture by Prof. Elena Valussi
Prof. Valussi is currently a Senior Lecturer in History at Loyola University Chicago. She applied for ICS Visiting Fellowship in 2022 and was successfully selected as one of the visiting scholars that year. Prof. Valussi will visit CUHK from 1 September to 31 December 2023, and during the visiting period, she will deliver a public lecture in November 2023. Further details will be announced.
Public Lecture by Prof. Sabrina Rastelli
Prof. Sabrina Rastelli is currently an Associate Professor of Chinese Art and Archaeology, Department of Asian and North African Studies, Ca’ Foscari University. She applied for ICS Visiting Fellowship in 2021 and was successfully selected as one of the visiting scholars that year. Owing to the pandemic, Prof. Rastelli postponed her visiting period, and now as the pandemic is over, she has confirmed her visit to CUHK from 10 September 2023 to 10 January 2024. During her visiting period, Prof. Rastelli will deliver a public lecture on 28 November 2023 (Tuesday), from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at 2/F, Activity Room, Art Museum East Wing.
