The Fourth Chen Kai-wen Lecture of Modern Chinese History
The Fourth Chen Kai-wen Lecture of Modern Chinese History was successfully held on 18 and 21 April 2023 at The
Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Chen Kai-wen Lecture of Modern Chinese History, launched in 2017, aims to enhance research and education on Modern Chinese History. This year, Prof. Yang Tianshi from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was cordially invited to deliver a speech on the topic of “蔣介石 的功過是非”. More than one hundred guests and participants joined the event.

Moreover, the Award Ceremony of the second and third Chen Jing China History Teaching Award took place at the beginning of the lecture. Congratulations to Mr. Wan Siu-yin from The YWCA Hioe Tjo Yoeng College for the 2021 Award; Ms. Tsui Lam from True Light Middle School of Hong Kong and Mr. Wong Man Ho from Lui Cheung Kwong Lutheran College for the 2023 Award.
