“The Politics of Emperors in Imperial China”
Mr. Ian Huen is a Hong Kong entrepreneur, and he has a profound interest in studying Chinese Literature, History and Culture. ICS is honoured to invite Mr. Ian Huen to deliver a series of five lectures with the topic “The Rising Sons” from 15 September (Friday) to 20 October 2023 (Friday), 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and the venue is to be confirmed. The lecture will use four examples from The Art of War to discuss what messages Sunzi conveys in the book.

Chinese Calligraphy Workshop
ICS has organised Chinese Calligraphy Workshop for many years, and this year, it is our honour to invite Dr. Chan Kwun Nam to deliver two Chinese Calligraphy Workshops, namely, Chinese Calligraphy (Beginner), and Chinese Calligraphy (Advance) in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. The workshop for the Beginner level is scheduled to be conducted from 3 October to 5 December 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at 2/F, Activity Room, Art Museum East Wing while the Advanced workshop will be held from 30 November to 25 January 2024, with a “Fai Chun Writing Activity 2024” on 1 February 2024 to celebrate the Chinese New Year!
