She was awarded two fellowships during her first year of postdoctoral training, i.e. the Croucher Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship 2012 and the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund Postdoctoral Fellowship Grant 2012. In the beginning of 2014, she was also selected as one of the promising young scientists from all over the world to participate in "The Global Young Scientist Summit @ one north" held in Singapore.
Currently, she is trained at University of Illinois at Chicago under the supervision of Dr. Asrar B. Malik. First year of her training at Chicago has earned her the third postdoctoral grant in her life: the Chicago Biomedical Consortium Postdoctoral Research Grant program. She is now continuing to develop her long-term research interests in the advancement of comprehensive knowledge of human stem cell biology that is highly relevant and applicable to the development of therapy to treat human diseases.
