3rd CWC Festival: The Distinguished

The 3rd CWC Festival of the College, 'The Distinguished', was held from 30 October to 6 November 2018 by an Organising Committee (OC) formed mainly by Year 2 students. It was a student-initiated College event that aimed to enhance CUHK students' understanding of the College, strengthen bonding among College students and integrate students from different origins.

During the week, the College campus was adorned with festive decorations made by students, and a series of interesting activities and games under a tribal theme were organised, including an opening ceremony, room escape games, sports games and an open bazaar where College students performed on stage and ran stalls selling snacks and handicrafts, attracting many CUHK students to come and visit the College.

Hundreds of College students and other CUHK students spent fun-filled evenings at the CWC Festival. The Festival achieved its aims, and also served as a precious opportunity for the OC to learn to cooperate with other College mates and liaise with different parties on campus and beyond to run a large event.

For more details about the 3rd CWC Festival, please refer to Pages 76–77 of the Report of the Master published in 2018.
