| In Memory of Mrs. Ch'ien Hu Mei-chi | |

Mrs. Ch'ien Hu Mei-chi, the beloved wife of our founder the late Mr. Ch'ien Mu, passed away on 26 March 2012 in Taipei. In memory of Mrs. Chien's great contributions to the College and education, a memorial service was held on Saturday, 12 May 2012 at G/F, Daisy Li Hall of the College. Mrs. Ch'ien dedicated herself to promoting Chinese culture all her life. She devoted herself to assisting Mr. Ch'ien in his teaching and research, and after his passing, to the compilation and publication of his writings. In the past years, Mrs. Ch'ien organized eleven seminars on traditional Chinese culture in our College, as part of her efforts to promote traditional Chinese culture in mainland China, Taiwan,Hong Kong and Macau. |
