Taichi Classes for Beginners

Taichi is an outstanding gem of traditional Chinese culture that is valuable in promoting health, developing combat and self-defence skills, and improving concentration. A series of beginners' Taichi classes were offered to College students in Term 2, 201314.  The classes were taught by a certified instructor of the International Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Federation.  A total of 12 students, including exchange students from Demark, Sweden and the USA, participated in the classes.  As some of the participants were exchanges students, the class was taught in English.

Date: 10 sessions on Mondays (10, 17, 24 February;

          3, 10, 17, 24, 31 March ; 7, 14 April 2014)

Strength and Conditioning Workshop

Nineteen students participated in the Strength and Conditioning Workshop organized by the College on 21 February 2014. Under guidance of the instructor, they received core muscle strength and physical conditioning trainings.

Jazz Dance Experience Workshop

The College organized a Jazz Dance Experience Workshop on 14 March 2014. Through the Workshop, the students learnt body coordination, stretching and high intensity aerobics.
