Event: Academic Lecture, "The Second Chen Kai-wen Lectureship in Modern Chinese History", Research Centre for Contemporary Chinese Culture
 

The second Chen Kai-wen Lectureship in Modern Chinese History was held in late March. It is a great honor that Professor Chang Yu Fa, Academician, Academia Sinica, Taiwan came to the Chinese University of Hong Kong to give two lectures on 1911 Revolution and the May Fourth Movement respectively.  Professor Sechin Yeong-Shyang Chien (Academia Sinica) , Professor Chow Po Chung (CUHK) and Professor Jiang Yi-Huah (City University of Hong Kong and Former Premier of Taiwan) joined the second lecture to present their views on the democratic development of Taiwan.
