To complement the exhibition "A Field in Bloom: Highlights of Chinese Art to Mark the 60th Anniversary of the Department of Fine Arts, CUHK", the Art Museum organised a public lecture in which Prof. Tong Kam-tang (Associate Professor, Department of Fine Arts, CUHK) was invited to share with the audience his ideas in "Painting Sketches and Chinese Painting Education". A painting demonstration was also conducted after the talk. The event was held at University Bookstore, CUHK, and attracted 46 participants. ![](http://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/enewsasp/Photo/13030/80660.jpg) The Art Museum also organised two workshops for the public to experience the Chinese ink painting class received by CUHK Fine Arts students. The workshops comprised two sections, namely a guided tour of the exhibition and a Chinese ink painting workshop by Mr. Ross Yau, an artist who graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, CUHK.
