A special wedding ceremony was held at Daisy Li Hall on April 6, 2012. Two alumni of the College, Mr. Carson Tse Kar-Son, Cheng Ming Awardee 2002 and former tutor of Daisy Li Hall, and Miss Lam Wing-shan, former Secretary of Daisy Li Hall Residents' Association and graduate of Department of Fine Arts, stepped into a new stage of their lives by getting married.
Carson has just entered the legal profession. One of his "masters" was invited to officiate the wedding. Relatives, friends, colleagues, students, alumni and their parents attended the ceremony. Some of the members of the residents' associations in thepast 2 years have come to share the joy, and some of them have even helped the organization of the ceremony. Professor Lam Hon-ming,warden of the Daisy Li Hall and his wife were invited to witness the wedding and to share a blessing after the ceremony. The vitality of the College is not just a matter of the number of celebrities or of the significant academic achievements produced, but also includes an unspeakable cohesion. The cohesion among the alumni builds up slowly through human interaction. New Asia College's generously lending the venue to hold the successful wedding is a mark of its bondage to its alumni.
