New Asia College was invited to co-organize the 'New Asia College / Hertford College of Oxford University Study Abroad and Cultural Exploration Programme' with Herford College, Oxford University, U.K., in 2010. Our College is one of the few educational institutions in Hong Kong to establish partnership with Hertford College.

'New Asia College / Hertford College of Oxford University Study Abroad and Cultural Exploration Programme' started in 2011.The major objective of the programme is to enhance the language proficiency ofstudents and to let them have a first hand exposure to the English culture. The programme includes English language learning, visits, cultural exploration and exchange with local students. The students may also have the chance to meet with teaching staff of Oxford University for a deeper understanding of the local culture. The College subsidizes part of students' tuition fees and airfares.

Professor Terence Chong Tai-leung, Associate Dean of Students of the College, has led a group of 20 New Asia students to take part in athree-week summer programme at Hertford College of Oxford University this year; the group took off to U.K. on 8 July 2012.
