These graduates, robed in graduation gowns, returned to the College on 15 November 2018 with their families and friends to attend the College Graduation Ceremony. College fellows, teachers and staff were also present to give the graduates their best wishes.
Officiating at the Ceremony, Prof Wai-Yee CHAN, College Master, spoke of his delight in sharing the joy of the graduates and his gratitude to them for contributing to the College. He hoped that in return they could also gain or learn something from the College, such as self-discipline, willingness to embrace diversity, social awareness and life-long friendships, any one of which would become their leverage in the rest of their lives, whether they were to study or work after graduation.
Mr Erwin CHAN, on behalf of the Class of 2018, expressed his deepest gratitude to the College teachers, staff and benefactors for creating an intimate and international community for College students to learn to be intellectual and involved in the wider community. While it was hard for them to say goodbye to the College, they were ready to set forth to explore their own paths. He rounded off his speech with his best wishes to the fellow graduates in the days to come.
After Erwin's sharing came the most keenly awaited part of the ceremony. The graduates walked up to the stage one by one and received their graduation certificates from Prof CHAN. It was a touching moment when the graduates' efforts were recognised by the College and University.
Gratified and delighted to see the growth of its third batch of graduates, once again the College congratulates them on their graduation, and wishes them the best in future.
Please revisit the treasured moments at the College photo album.
