Our hearty congratulations to the following College members for various appointments and achievements.

Appointment

Professor Wong Suk-ying, Dean of Students, will continue to serve on the Senate Staff-Student Consultative Committee as the College's representative from 1 August 2013 for two years.

Professor Wong Suk-ying has been appointed Director of Admissions and Financial Aid from 1 October 2013 for a period of three years, on a concurrent basis with her appointments in the Department of Sociology and CW Chu College.

Professor Jan Kiely has been re-appointed Associate Director of the Centre for China Studies for a period of two years from 2 August 2012.

Professor Cecilia Chun has been appointed Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies), Faculty of Education, from 1 September 2013 to 31 July 2014 on a concurrent basis.

29 July 2013.

Mrs Dora Wong, General Clerk, reported for duty on

1 August 2013.

Ms Jade Cai, Project Assistant, reported for duty on

6 August 2013.

Ms Daisy Wong, Project Coordinator, reported for duty on

26 August 2013.

Award

Professor Julie Yu, College member, received the 2011–2012 Faculty Outstanding Teaching Award from the Faculty of Business Administration on 17 June 2013.

Resignation and Leave

Professor Mark Hsiao, Assistant Professor of Faculty of Law, has tendered resignation from the University, to take effect from 1 July 2013.

Dr Grace Wong, Lecturer of University General Education, has tendered resignation from the University, to take effect from 1 July 2013.

Dr Trevor Webb, Director of University Planning Office, has tendered resignation from the University, to take effect from 7 July 2013.

Ms Lone Petersen, Assistant Lecturer of Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages, has tendered resignation from the University, to take effect from 2 September 2013.
