Academic Planning Day for Form 5 Students

The Academic Planning Day for Form 5 Students was held on 13 April 2013. Over 1,000 prospective students and their parents visited the information booth of CW Chu College in the foyer of Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, and learnt about the major highlights of the College. Two Introduction Sessions on the College were held at YC Liang Hall on the event day. Consultation Day for JUPAS Applicants

Consultation Day for JUPAS Applicants was held on 11 May 2013 and was well received by applicants and their family members. On that day, CW Chu College set up an information booth on the University Mall. College members and students introduced to the visitors the Collegeʼs background, features and its latest developments. They also distributed College pamphlets and answered enquiries.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Orientation Day for New Students
The Chinese University of Hong Kong organized the New Student Orientation Day for HKDSE students on 10 August 2013 (Saturday). Professor Kenneth Young, the College Master, hosted two information sessions to give detailed introduction about the features and latest developments of the College, including the full residence policy, the concept of the Honour Code, as well as the facilities of College's new premises. Four founding students shared their joyful College life with students newly admitted to CUHK.

 

As one of the highlights of the information sessions, two videos featuring the founding year and the first orientation camp of the College were shown. The College Master, the Dean of Students, a number of College Fellows and Resident Tutors also took this opportunity to meet students on that day. Many newly admitted students were present, and there was a cordial exchange. A counter was also set up for consultation and distribution of College pamphlets.
