Delegation from Ningbo Education Bureau
Mr. Zhao Jun, Deputy Director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Ningbo Municipal People's Government, led a delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 13 May 2014 to strengthen links with the University.
The delegation was warmly greeted by Prof. Gordon Cheung, Associate-Vice-President of CUHK. CUHK representatives introduced to the delegation the overall developments of the University and its collaboration with institutions in Ningbo. Mr. Zhao expressed that Ningbo Government would offer its strong support to facilitate the University's academic collaboration and research work in Ningbo. The delegates gained knowledge of the recent developments in CUHK and the visit built stronger links between the two parties.

Delegation from Taipei Medical University
A 5-member delegation led by Prof. Yun Yen, President of Taipei Medical University (TMU) visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 15 May 2014 to explore collaboration opportunity in medicine between the two universities.
The delegation met with Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. France Chan, Dean of Medicine; and Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) to get to know the developments of teaching and research in medicine in CUHK. Meetings were held to explore collaboration possibility in related fields. The delegates gained more information about the recent development of the University and forged links with CUHK through the visit.

Vice-Rector of University of Macau
Prof. Chen Hai-Dung, Vice Rector of University of Macau visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 23 May 2014, with the aim of enhancing communication on the general education development of CUHK.
Prof. Chen met with Prof. Benjamin Wah, Provost of CUHK during the visit. He gave a presentation on "Nurturing 21st Century Talents" and met with CUHK members, including Prof. Annisa C.H. Lee Lai, Dean of Students of Wu Yee Sun College, Prof. Leung Mei-yee, Director of University General Education; Prof. Lee Hung-kay, Associate Dean of General Education of United College; and Mr. Raymond Leung, Director of Student Affairs. Prof. Chen exchanged views at the meeting with CUHK colleagues on topics relating to general education, student affairs and College system.
The visit further enhanced mutual understanding between the two universities and promoted collaborations in the area of general education and student development.

Other Important Visits
A delegation headed by Prof. Wang De-yao, Director of Fudan University Press visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 15 May 2014. The delegation met with Ms. Gan Qi, Director of Chinese University Press, Prof. Xu Xiao-dong, Deputy Director of Art Museum, and Ms LF Li from the University Library to share experience in related areas.
