The Second Director's Cup - SBS Badminton Tournament

Organized by the SBS Postgraduate Student Association, the second SBS Director's Cup was held successfully on 11 October 2014.

Over 50 SBS students and staff members formed various teams in this badminton tournament to complete for the Director's Cup  –  the champion trophy generously sponsored by the School Director Professor Chan Wai-yee.  The results of the tournament are listed below:

Champion
'Stem cell and Regeneration' Team comprising Prof. Feng Bo, Mr. Tommy L.M. Lo, Mr. Weng Zhi-hui, Mr. You Wen-xing and Ms. Shu Ying-lan.

First runner-up
'Cancer and Inflammation' Team comprising Mr. Yang Yi, Mr. Zhang Yin-feng, Mr. Rao Shitao, Ms. Xu Jiaying and Ms. Cao Ye

Second runner-up
'Staff' Team comprising Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Prof. Francis F.Y. Lam, Mr. Jimmy T.Y. Cheng, Ms. Jean L.S. Kung, Ms. Nicole S.C. Ng and Ms. Christina C.W. Poon, Ms. Rachel C.Y. Kwok

The SBS Postgraduate Student Association would like to express their gratitude to the captains and players of the teams for their help and participation, as well as to School members for their support in the event.  Without their contributions and support, the event would not have been as enjoyable and successful.
