Fifteen Mainland universities with a total of 36 students participated in the programme, including Beihang University, Chongqing University, Dalian University of Technology, Fudan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Nanjing University, Nankai University, Northeast Normal University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Tianjin University, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University and Zhejiang University. Students from CUHK and UM also took part in this interflow activity.
The one-week programme consisted of a series of lectures and visits in Hong Kong and Macau. There were also visits to public organizations, such as Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption and Public Prosecutions Office of Macau. Through the activities, Mainland participants had the opportunity not only to interact with CUHK and UOM students and to learn more about the two universities, but also to acquire a broad picture of Hong Kong and Macau in social and cultural aspects.
The programme provided a valuable chance for students from the Mainland China, CUHK and UM to interact and get a better understanding of the culture and life from each other. The University also strengthened relationship with Macau and Mainland partners.
